SAS is a data analytics and technology company making real-world, positive change in our life time. We created a four part program to highlight the impressive real-life stories of how SAS is making a difference in our world today.

SAS’s partnership with Ulta Beauty highlighted how beauty plays a meaningful role in our lives in part 3 of this program.



Art Direction

As art director of the program, I was responsible for the development of visual direction and leading the design team through completion of the program.  This involved collaborating directly with the editorial team to craft a visual narrative in line with the goals of the editorial, as well as leading the creative production of the bespoke page development.  

Our team developed a visual aesthetic direction with the goal of illustrating the themes of individuality, beauty, and collaboration. Expressive imagery was critical to the success of the program as it drove engagement.

The goal of the art direction was to illustrate how SAS’s partnerships with Ulta is part of an exciting time as culture is shifting and beauty is evolving. This was expressed visually through dreamy, handrawn illustration. We worked with animator and illustrator Marine Buffond to illustrate images that redefine how beauty is portrayed.
